Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Friends of Australian International Academy,

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah (SWT) be with you.

It indeed is an honour and an absolute pleasure to welcome you all to the 2022 academic year as the Qur’an teacher and Imam of Caroline Springs Primary Campus.

Our dedicated team and I are at the service of our community in the footsteps of the AIA vision.

Term 1 is always a busy time in the school year, as our students settle into new routines and familiarise themselves with new timetables.

Our vision revolves around facilitating the development of our students in the following five ways:

1. Islamic identity
2. Academic results
3. Manners, character & behaviour
4. Leadership skills, and
5. Physical and emotional welfare and wellbeing.

We intend to maintain discipline and order by empowering our students to portray a culture of self-discipline and good manners by following the Hadith: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.”

All we ask of students is to exert their very best effort within all the facets of their schooling life and we aim to achieve this vision by building a strong relationship with our students based upon guidance, care, discipline, and respect.

If we are to achieve our objectives, we will also require support from the home. Please assist us by encouraging your child to adhere to all the policies and procedures of the Academy.

Allah (SWT) says:

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ مَنْ أَحْسَنَ عَمَلًا ﴿٣٠﴾

“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - indeed, we will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds" (CH18:V30).

The Holy Quran has a special place in Muslim’s hearts for being Allah’s words and their guide to a better life. The Quran revives and gives light to Muslim’s heart, and guides to the straight path.

Dear respected parents,
Your sons and daughters have been especially chosen by Allah and granted the success to continue memorizing His Book.

You must realize that in the beginning this task will not be easy. It will require you to be patient and make sacrifices in order for all of you to achieve reward and honour in this life, as well as happiness and elevation in the next.

As you are helping them in their daily efforts and reminding them to memorize the Glorious Qur’an, you will find this plan will help you in shaa Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ،

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي،

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي.

O’ Allah (SWT), We seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in this world and the next. O’ Allah (SWT), We seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in our religion, in our worldly affairs, in our family and in our wealth. O’ Allah (SWT), guard us from what is in front of us and behind us, from our left, and from our right, and from above us. I seek refuge in Your Greatness from all harms and diseases. Ameen.

We pray that Allāh (SWT) sends His mercy and blessings upon our students and grant us a great success.
