Welcome to AIA Caroline Springs Primary Campus (CSPC) for the 2022 school year! We look forward to new beginnings, establishing educational partnerships and strengthening connections with our school community. We look forward to the year ahead, where students will build their conceptual understandings and knowledge to become active learners and take responsibility and ownership of their learning.

Primary Years Programme (PYP)- Learner Profile

"All IB programmes aim to develop internationally minded people who, recognising their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world." (www.ibo.org)

PYP learners strive to become inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective. These attributes are called the Learner Profiles, which is the heart of the PYP.

The PYP promotes the Learner Profiles to help students become responsible for local, national and global communities. They represent a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities beyond intellectual development and academic success for our children as global citizens for the 21st century.

The IB Learner Profiles play an essential role in the classroom and outside of school. Using authentic opportunities enhances students' understanding of each attribute by developing their knowledge, skills, independent critical and creative thought and international-mindedness.

IB Learner Profiles

AIA CSPC Learner Profile Challenge!
